Release the Hounds!

The initial launch of myTuneSync has been well received. But up until Friday I hadn't done much in the way of advertising. On launch day I sent an email out to my group of friends asking them to check it out. And I have to say it has been very interesting to see how the word spread in such a short time. Having friends on the list from other countries even means that I'm getting hits and downloads from Europe, Australia and Japan. (Thanks to all you guys who forwarded the email to your friends.)

So two days ago I decided to take the next step and list myTuneSync on VersionTracker. Since then I've been glued to my computer watching the response. It has been fantastic! I've had almost 200 downloads since the listing went live. And I've had a number of sales and some great email interactions with people trying out the product. I'm completely stoked!

And BTW, to anyone else out their writing software, working with VersionTracker has been great. They have a nice interface for you to upload your product and their turnaround time for posting has been great.

Meet myTuneSync

I am proud to announce the release of myTuneSync 1.0 today.

What is it? Well, if you use iTunes on multiple computers, you will wonder what you ever did without it.

In a nutshell, myTuneSync synchronizes all of your music and videos between all of your computers. So when you buy a song on your desktop PC it gets copied to your laptop. And when you import a CD on your laptop, it gets copied to your desktop. Simple, right? Exactly.

So download it, check it out and let me know why you think.
